Movement based assessments
Progression of movement patterns once basic assessment screens have been completed. Learn the major joints of the body through which major improvement in movement can be achieved.
Initial client appraisals and re-appraisals
All clients are encouraged to undertake an initial fitness appraisal. This is a structured assessment that pinpoints exactly where a client is in terms of their health and fitness. It is a way of forming a benchmark from which future comparisons can be made and improvements in their health and fitness can be measured.

Exercise for special populations
Personal training sessions can be tailored specifically to suit those who have special fitness needs:
- People who are clinically obese or who have never exercised
- People who have limited or no mobility in some or all joints
- Ante or Post-Natal women who would like the reassurance of one to one care
Sessions of one hour are unlikely to be suitable for many people initially and will be tailored to meet the individual's needs, i.e. a block of four one-hour sessions could be divided into 8 x 30 minutes or 12 x 20 minutes.
- Indoor Group Cycling - Spinning classes are a great way to get a vigorous workout, burning calories and keeping your muscles in shape with music that begs your legs to pedal!!! Great for all ability levels... Spinning is an unmatched way to make your fitness goals a reality...

Initial consultation
Your WOW Fitness Instructor will conduct a thorough Health Appraisal to determine your level of fitness and understand you, your goals, likes and dislikes and that there is no contraindictations to exercise. The following will be included in the health appraisal: Health & Lifestyle, Daily Dietary Intake, Goal & PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) questionnaire's. Height, Weight, Body Fat %, Visceral Fat , BMI (Body Mass Index), BMR (Basic Metabolic Rate), Muscle Mass %, Body Water %, Grip Strength Test, Blood Pressure and Lung Life checks & Final Step... OUTLINE PLAN OF ATTACK!!!
One hour personal training
This is a 1 hour full on driven session "personal" to you and to your achievement of your goals...
Half hour personal training
This is an alternative to the 1 hour session and an ideal solution to addressing time pressures.
2-on-1 hour personal training
For a cost effective solution for friends and family
3+on-1 hour personal training
Ideal for friends, family as above or corporate clients wishing to implement a programme to motivate, team build and reward staff.
Nutrition consultation
WOW Fitness works closely together with you looking at the psychological aspects of your relationship with food, (healthy or unhealthy and WHY?) and develops a plan best suited to meet your needs, align your goals and is up to date with your life style (whether you are a lorry driver, mother, athlete, executive etc...). The outcome of which is a comprehensive nutrition plan that works "For You" and delivers outstanding results!!!

Absolute Contraindications - Top 5 list
Absolute means that under no conditions should you undergo exercise testing.
- A history Recent Heart Attack, also called Myocardial Infarction.
- Any heart related disease including but not limited to Aortic Stenosis, Unstable Angina, Pericarditis or any thromboembolic disease.
- Severe Infections and Fever.
- Severe Illness of any kind.
- Severe emotional distress.
Relative Contraindications - Top 5 list
These are less threatening conditions but still danger enough warranting a supervision.
- Previous history of heart Illness.
- Any Skeletal or Neuromuscular disorders, back problems etc.
- High Blood Pressure.
- Liver Diseases.
- Advanced Pregnancy.
